RATE: $49 per night - NO PET FEE!!! When you call, block is held under CAT SHOW.

 

We will be using official TICA Hotel Room Inspection Procedures - Please keep your cats in tents, the room clean & do not flush litter down the toilet! Exhibitors will be held financially accountable for any damage they cause.

The closest airport is Minneapolis. - The hotel will provide airport shuttle, ask them for details.

Check In

Check in will be from 9am - 10 am Saturday 

Show Hours

Show hours will be 10 am-6 pm Saturday and 10am - 5pm Sunday No one may leave before the advertised show hours without permission of the Show Management.

Supplies

Cat litter will be provided in the show hall only.  Please bring your own litter trays.  No food will be provided.

Cages

Single cages (1/2 cage) are 22”x22”x22”;  Double cages (whole cage) are 22”x44”x22” The top, sides  and back of cages MUST be covered.  Grooming space is 22”x44”x22”.    

Benching

All exhibitors will have assigned benching.  Benching requests MUST be clearly indicated on the summary sheets, and we will try to accommodate all requests. Otherwise we will bench by breed.  No one may change their benching without permission of Show Management. Cats and kittens may not be stored in kennels or carriers under the cages.

For Sale / Exhibition Only

Cats and kittens for sale will NOT be permitted in the show hall (EXPO POLICY).  Cages are restricted to one cat or two kittens per 1/2 cage. Kittens must be 3 months of age and have evidence of litter registration in TICA. No Sales Cages/Exhibition Only cages will be permitted without accompanying at least one paid entry.

Health Rules

This is a non-vetted show.  It is recommended that all entries be up to date on all immunizations.  Any cats showing evidence of fungus, ear mites, fleas, or a contagious disease will be removed from the show hall as well as any other cats from the same household.  HHP adults must be altered.  All claws, front and back, on all entries must be clipped prior to benching.

Registration

Pedigreed cats and household pets may be shown once in TICA with a pending registration number. Subsequent shows without a registration number will not be scored. All preliminary new breed and advanced new breed entries must be registered.

Awards

Each entry will receive a rosette at the beginning of the show.  Award plaques will be given in all rings.

Show Rules

This show is sanctioned by The International Cat Association and is subject to their rules and regulations. (available from the TICA Executive Office, PO Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551).  By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the Show Committee and Judges.  GlassciTICAts, Great Lakes Cat Consortium, Inc., La Quinta and Tower Show Productions will be held harmless for any damages,  claims, losses, etc. of/to the exhibitor and his/her entries.

Clerks & Stewards

Clerks and stewards are always needed and greatly appreciated.  Please indicate on your summary sheet if you are able to clerk or steward.  Do NOT deduct clerking/stewarding fees from your entry fees.  Payment will be given at the end of the day/weekend. Clerking pays $60 for the weekend, and we are only accepting 2-day clerks. (Same ring both days). Stewards are paid $40 for the weekend.
